Terms and Conditions for Lady Meetups

The Lady Meetups platform, accessible via https://ladymeetups.com and the “Lady Meetups” mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”), is designed to connect women for meetups, events, and networking based on shared interests.

 

 

2. General Principles

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Platform and its services (“Services”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.

 

 

3. Third-Party Application Integration

 

When downloading the Mobile App from third-party platforms (e.g., App Store, Google Play), their terms may apply. Lady Meetups is not responsible for third-party services. You acknowledge that:

 

  • The third party is not a party to these Terms.

  • The third party has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

  • Lady Meetups is responsible for addressing any issues related to the Mobile App.

 

 

4. Access Conditions

 

To use the Platform, you must:

 

  • Be a woman aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

  • Use the Platform for non-professional purposes.

  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

  • Not be prohibited by law or have a serious criminal record (unless pardoned for non-violent offenses).

  • Not have been previously banned from the Platform unless expressly permitted.

 

Registration requires providing accurate and complete information. Failure to comply may result in termination of access.

 

 

5. Service Description

 

Services are available in regions listed on the Platform. Detailed information about each service is provided on the Platform.

 

 

6. Our Services

 

6.1. Connections

The Platform facilitates connections between women for meetups and events based on shared interests. We do not guarantee:

 

  • Specific participant numbers or compatibility.

  • Exclusivity of attendees (repeat meetups may occur).

 

6.2. Event Reservations

We assist in venue bookings but do not guarantee:

 

  • Accommodation of dietary preferences (treated as preferences, not restrictions).

  • Allergen safety or dietary adherence (users should check menus and contact us for changes).

 

Reservations follow Platform schedules; changes or cancellations are subject to policy.

 

6.3. Meetups and Events

Event duration is participant-driven. Venue details are provided the day before. Solo attendance is required. Costs (food, drinks) are user-borne. Budget preferences ($, $$, $$$) are indicative, aligning with local pricing.

 

6.4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within the standard period may be eligible for a refund (processed within 5-10 business days). Late cancellations or no-shows may lead to suspension (three incidents in two months may result in a ban).

 

6.5. Lady Connect

A messaging feature allows post-meetup communication, subject to these Terms.

 

6.6. Additional Services

 

  • Maintenance: Updates may limit access temporarily.

  • Hosting: Data is hosted in the EU with best-effort security.

  • Support: Available Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (excluding holidays).

 

 

7. Duration

 

Services are offered as tickets (duration per Platform) or subscriptions (auto-renewing unless canceled 7 days prior). After the subscription period, free Messenger access applies without obligations.

 

 

8. Financial Conditions

 

Prices are listed on the Platform in the specified currency. Promotions may apply.

 

  • Pricing: Tickets are one-time; subscriptions renew at revised rates with notice.

  • Payment: Mobile payments via App Store/Google Play; website payments via our provider. Late payments may suspend services.

 

 

9. User Obligations

 

Users agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate, updated information.

  • Secure login details.

  • Comply with laws and safety guidelines.

  • Refrain from illegal, offensive, or commercial misuse.

  • Avoid sharing unauthorized content or interfering with systems.

 

Violations may lead to exclusion.

 

 

10. Our Obligations

 

We commit to:

 

  • Deliver services diligently (obligation of means).

  • Ensure data security and remove illegal content upon notification.

  • Not be liable for external disruptions or user interactions.

 

 

11. Liability

 

Our liability is limited to direct damages, capped at 12-month payments. We are not liable for venue quality or user conduct.

 

 

12. Right of Withdrawal

 

  • Website: 14-day withdrawal period (submit form or clear statement to contact@ladymeetups.com).

  • Mobile App: Handled by App Store/Google Play policies.

 

 

13. Intellectual Property

 

All Platform content is owned by Lady Meetups. Reproduction without consent is prohibited.

 

 

14. Use of Likeness

 

Participation allows the use of your image/voice for promotional purposes for up to 10 years post-subscription.

 

 

15. Confidentiality

 

Information is confidential for 3 years post-relationship, with exceptions (e.g., public data).

 

 

16. Data Protection

 

We comply with GDPR. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

 

 

17. Termination

 

Subscriptions can be canceled 7 days prior to renewal; tickets can be canceled anytime via the Platform.

 

 

18. Sanctions

 

Breaches (e.g., non-payment, illegal activity) may lead to suspension or legal action.

 

 

19. Modifications

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For subscription users, modifications will be notified at least 3 days in advance. For ticket users, changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

 

20. Force Majeure

 

Delays due to force majeure (as defined by French Civil Code) suspend obligations.

 

 

21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

 

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
